Zurixx Puerto Rico recently held a school supply drive to benefit students who attend the Luis Munoz Rivera Elementary School in Dorado. Zurixx employees were encouraged to collect various school supplies in an effort to support the poverty stricken students at the local school. Many of the students who attend the school have very little, and their families cannot afford to purchase school supplies. The supplies collected from the drive will help these students with their schooling as they begin the new school year.
Employees collected everything from pencils, erasers, calculators, scissors, art supplies, binders and backpacks for the students.
“We are proud to collect school supplies for these students, as many of their families do not have the means to purchase their own supplies,” said Zurixx Puerto Rico President Cris Cannon. “We hope that these donations will make this upcoming school year an impactful one for these students.”
Zurixx is proud to support students at Luis Munoz Rivera Elementary School, and enjoys the opportunity to give back to the community whenever they can.
