Zurixx Gives Back: Addict II Athlete
We are proud to announce our partnership with Addict II Athlete (AIIA) by sponsoring their sixth annual 5K race in Salem, Utah this September.
AIIA is a local non-profit support group that helps those affected by addition. AIIA uses an active method of erasing the addiction and replacing it with something of greater value, specifically healthy recreation and exercise. AIIA works with the entire family, including children, to help those suffering overcome addiction issues.
The 5K race has proven to be a productive outlet for addiction advocacy, an educational resource for the addict and their support system, and a platform for the community to understand just how much addiction affects the entire family. Most importantly, the race shows the community that there is hope for full addiction recovery. Because community involvement is so important to break the cycle, Zurixx’s sponsorship will help keep this event entirely free for all.
The AIIA 5K will mark the second race Zurixx sponsors this year. On Saturday, June 17, Zurixx was the presenting sponsor at the Huntsman 5K, a family-friendly fun run that benefits cancer research.
