Zurixx Coaches Receive ATD Coaching Certification Training

March 2, 2017 – Zurixx Coaches recently attended a two day in-office course where they were trained in best practices for helping students, diagnosing problems, and creating success. This course was offered by The Association for Talent Development (ATD), the world’s largest association dedicated to those who develop talent in organizations. All thirteen of our full-time coaches participated in the training.

ATD’s mission is to empower talent development professionals with the knowledge and skills they need to be successful and remain competitive. ATD provides trusted content in the form of research, books, webcasts, events, and education programs.

Zurixx’s Director of Coaching, Carter Brown, wanted his team to be not only qualified, but also trained by the best. “I have been coaching for 12 years, but I am a big believer in constant improvement,” said Brown. “Since the training, I am much more aware of students’ needs and determining what is really going on in their lives that is preventing them from being successful. A good Coach needs to really listen to what the student needs and structure the coaching and training around that.”

Drawing upon professional accomplishments and career experience, ATD facilitators and seasoned practitioners bring to bear 10-plus years of experience in their fields, offering personalized learning and valuable insights. “My approach to coaching sessions has changed since the training,” said Coach Deborah Price. “I believe the training helped me to become a better coach and I appreciate the opportunity to learn, grow, and continue to refine my coaching skills.”

At Zurixx we place a great deal of pride in the quality of coaching and education that our students receive, which is why we are the only company in the industry with all coaches certified through the International Association for Continuing Education and Training’s (ACET) Accelerated Program. Our coaches have over 300 years of combined experience and undergo over 700 coaching sessions per week, and we look forward to continuing to provide the highest possible quality education to our students.
